XII Apostoli (the 12 apostles), located in the Savignypassage, is a picture-book Italian restaurant. Reasons for its success may lie in the professional approach, decor's emphasis on detail (ie. the frescos and vases oppulently filled with fresh flowers) and the moderately-priced food: excellent and large pizzas. There is terrace-seating in the summer. Breakfast starts a 7 am and the croissant is made fresh on the premises. Successfully, they've opened a second restaurant opposite the Pergamon Museum in Berlin-Mitte.
